Alongside her established media and celebrity career, Desziree is dedicated to helping people in need and has a true passion for volunteering and philanthropy.  She believes that improving, uplifting and supporting others is vitally important and her voluntary activities have taken her as far afield as Africa and Asia. 

Desziree is a bundle of energy and has a highly developed social conscience! She has contributed to many fund and awareness raising campaigns including live auction bids with other celebrities and volunteering as a UNICEF Children’s Champion.

Here is just a snapshot of some of the ways Desziree has helped and inspired others. She has received awards and recognition for her work including the England Gold Award reflecting her passion, leadership and dedication to a range of causes:

•  Working as project leader for the V team at the University of West London managing 35 volunteers working on community activities including one day challenges and tree planting in Gunnersbury Park. 
•  Empowering children as Mother Nature during the International Educational Handshake at London Metropolitan University and acting as host for the Women Involvement Charity Concert which raised Funds for Future Sense.
• Fundraising for the Have A Heart Appeal, Help a London Child and The Classic Foundation and campaigning for the Hunger Summit and IF Enough Food for Everyone.
• Desziree is the founder of the Women of Heart Foundation which raises funds to celebrate, support, promote, empower and educate women on a global basis.
• Women of Heart is launching a new project in 2020 - the Women of Heart Awardswhich will celebrate and honour  fifty amazing women, five exceptional iconic lifetimes and ten amazing charity organisations which have made a difference to people’s lives.
